MPKGD You have three magic genie wishes, what are you asking for?
PERFECT! Just in time for the New Year!
Let us say that at the start of the New Year, we get to rub a magic lamp and make new wishes (or keep old ones). Now, I am not sure if there is some kind of superstition out there in regard to sharing wishes. Though there is some kind of folklore stating that if you say your wish or your belief or your “fear” loud enough and enough people get a hold of it, it might come true. Some kind of like urban legend. Any way, going off tangent once again. So, I guess this will be a manifestation board?
Ok, manifestation board it is! My three wishes are:
NUMBER 1: UNLIMITED TICKETS TO VISIT ITALY
I want – more than anything – to go to Italy. This is one of those places that I really need to visit at least once in my life. This place has always been on my bucket list since I knew how to spell I-T-A-L-Y. I don’t fully understand the pull that I have towards that place. It might be because I am Catholic and the Vatican is just right there PLUS it is the Jubilee Year this year – a big event for Catholics and everyone in the Catholic World is invited to come visit.
Or it may be the fact that the place has a lot of history that I simply want to soak in. As a History student/teacher, it would be really important for me to really see the sites that I read and talk about in class. It would be really nice to just make it feel real.
Oh! Vacationing by the water! Please, the beaches! Need I say more?
And last but not least, the food. Authentic. Italian. Food.
NUMBER 2: THE ABILITY TO SPEAK, CONVERSE, AND READ IN ALL LANGUAGES.
This is for two things: it is so much easier to travel when you can pick up the language or you already know the language. Yes, it may take away the fun from learning the language as you travel, but I do just want to lessen the hassle.
Also, another reason: I love collecting books and having books from around the world in their native language seems like a nifty collection to make.
NUMBER THREE: ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD
I don’t think this needs any kind of explanation. I need money to spend. THAT IS ALL.
So, those are my 3 wishes. I think that’s about it.
