Summary:
An adventure book where a group of people are asked to test a new horror game show with real consequences.
Review:
Seriously loved the premise of this book considering that I also love playing those “choice-of…” games where you get to choose your kind of adventure and you progress, or you die and go back to zero. This was honestly the main reason why I picked up this book.
But I don’t think it was made in the best way or one that could reach its full potential. Or maybe I was expecting it to be more like the apps that I play more than a book.
Here is my main contention: it didn’t really give much of a choice of an adventure. It was literally like I must choose in the very little options that I have and one wrong move and I die (which sort of makes sense since the premise is that you win or you die, just like the characters in the book). But still, having more of a choice would be absolutely nice. OR if you make a mistake, we can just move back one contention and then start from there… not just die…
Maybe I am just very, very choosy.
