Well… Mid-year Update! Well, it is well past the middle of the year but here we are coming in a little bit late.

Here are some updates regarding my 2026 Reading Resolution:

Not buying any new books

Doing good – I think. I haven’t bought a lot of books either BUT for those that I have bought, I only bought ONE new book. The ones that bought are from used book stores.

    Going through my TBR

Ehhhh……. Not doing good. So far, I get distracted by new books that are not in my TBR. So far, I have only touched one title from it and actually started reading: Good Omens. And so far so good, I am really enjoying it.

What I could say is that I bought books that are in my TBR.

      Getting into more book series

Well… Yeah I am getting into these. Again, these weren’t part of my TBR; I was just perusing through my library and these were the books that were immediately available to borrow so it went home with me. So far, no regrets. I understand why these books are in high demand.

I do say, because of my going to “antique” stores, I have found book series that I have been looking for: The Inheritance Cycle (The Eragon Books). I am excited to crack those spines and deep dive into the world of dragons again.

        Reading more physical books

Well… I have been trying. It is hard to read physical books when I have so much else to do. Unfortunately, I cannot and do not have the time to simply sit down and just read… so e-books it is. Gives me headaches but here we are.

Also, I grew to appreciate audiobooks. But… only if certain actors do it. Ugh, I have so many conditionals for this, though I do appreciate it more now. However, graphic audios for the win.

Here are the books in question:

            GoodReads Update!

            I am at a 12 out of 30 books.

            40% of the way.
